Users not showing up

    Sometimes when a user registers, they do not show up in the directory.

    They are in the admin's user list, and are assigned the correct role, but they do not show up in the user directory?

    The user doen't show up in the default view.  No search is necessary to view users.  They are listed by Company Name alphabetically.

    I only have one search field, which is by Company Name.  That is a custom profile I added to DNN.

    When I test, it works fine, but a customer registered today and they were in the database just fine, but they did not show up on the directory, even if I searched for their Company Name.

    I deleted the user, and registered him myself using the same data.  It worked fine.  I'm wondering what could have happened when the customer registered that would have caused this.

    Very interesting. Can you check your DUD module configuration settings and see if you are filtering based on user roles? Can you paste your configuration settings here? -- David

    These are my module settings.  I am displaying only memebrs.  The users in question are in the database, and they have the correct role.

    I recently upgraded my DNN to 4.9.5  I don't know if that has something to do with it.

    Hi, are you using Dynamic Registration module or some other module for the user to register? Do they get added to the role "Member" automatically? Is this a site you can give us host access to? If so, please use "Contact Us" and send us the info so we can take a look at the issue and reference this forum thread. -- David

    I figured it out 

    There are two user directories, and two roles (one filtered for each directory)

    The customers in question were registering as "Role B" , but were looking in UserDirectory A.

    I assumed they were in UD A because that was the complaint.  After going through the database, i figured it out.

    Sorry for the mistake on my part.  Thanks for trying.
