The subject kinda says it all. If I change the template to use [Last Name] (with a space) and change the settings to pull it from the Dynamic Registration Module, it works.

HI. I would make sure that you have specified within Dynamic Registration that you would like the Last Name Dynamic Registraiton field to be linked to the Last Name core field. Also, I believe you have to do this under both 'Recommended fields' and 'Optional Fields'. This is because First / Last name are DNN user credentials AND profile property fields. That should do it, then just update the users information one more time.
