I notice that the  tempDUDPIVOT and  tempDUDProfile table can get very large.

What are these for and can they be cleared periodically? If so what is the best method?

Hi, they are temp tables that get dropped and recreated periodically based on the Dynamic User Directory scheduler (under Host / Schedule). They are essential to the operation of the module. What they are is this:

1) the tempDUDprofile sql table retrieves all the users and their DNN core profile fields/results
2) the tempDUDpivot uses SQL 2005 pivot command to tranpose the tempDUDprofile table into row data (another words, each userid and all their core profile fields are listed on a per row basis)

Depending on the amount of users and core profile fields you have, yes they can get quite large but they get dropped and recreated based on the DUD scheduler runtime you set. -- David
