I'd like to open a page that has the DUD on it by clicking on an icon on another page.  The icon would for example be the state of Texas and then I would open up a directory where just the members in texas were already searched on.  The UM seems to imply this is possible in section 8.1 Search Tips but seems to imply that the TabID would be known.  I must be using friendly URLs or something because I can''t seem to identify how to pass the parameters into the DUD specific module on a given page.

http://usfca.org/WebMstr/FACReport.aspx seems to be the page that the directory is on but there are plenty of other modules on this page also.....  How do I target the DUD with a &StateProvince=TX?

    I see: Ver:4.0.10.26659 / 5.4.4 Mid:807 / Tab:195 in the module heading but don't know if this is relevant....

8.1 Special Search Tips & Integration

These are special search tips and integration:

    • Leaving the search criteria to be ‘equal’ or ‘contains’ will render results if the field is null or blank; by using this method you can have multiple fields such as zip code, city, and state, and allow the user to search based on only the fields that they enter search terms form

    • Search fields can now be pre-filled from a querystring variable; so, if you have a search field for FirstName, you can pre-fill this search term by passing in the parameter as follows: ?FirstName=John. Here's another querystring example that's popular for integrating with

    other modules: www.yoursite.com/default.aspx?TabID=555&FirstName=John&LastName=Smith.

Hi. Well the module ID is listed within the area there too so generally speaking the URL would look something like this:

    http://usfca.org/WebMstr/FACReport....&Region=TX

That would be assuming you had a search field called Region that was there, you would have to map it to the exact profile property name.

If you didn't know the name of the page it would be more like this:
    http://usfca.org/WebMstr/Defaultasp...&Region=TX

There are other features we have added in place too like HidSearch and also AutoSearch so it would look like this:
    http://usfca.org/WebMstr/Defaultasp...&Region=TX&HideSearch=True&AutoSearch=True

    Thanks!

    -Chad
