    Hi;

    Is is possible to display the name of the user that is displayed in the detail section of the directory in the Title tag of the page? Also is it possible to have a variable description of the page as well depending on the user?

    Hi. This is not currently a feature the module offers but one that we are adding to the enhancement list to review for the next version. We already have something similar in Dynamic Registration (basically it cane change the module title when you are already signed in VS when you are not signed in) etc... For now another work around is to simply choose to 'Hide Container' within your module and just add whatever title you want in the template. This might be a work around for now.

    Not sure what you mean by variable description of the page... do you mean maybe different detail templates based on the users role? Depending on the exact requirements you could setup multiple instances of the module with multiple templates. We had one implementation we did recently where the item template was the same however they created many other instances of the module to represent 'Detail Templates'. Basically the module just passes an additional querystring item for the Detail Link which puts the module in 'Detail View'. So what he did was just create a few of those links passing the module to different pages and then setup hyperlinks for each page in the item template. For example...

    Show My Bio
    Show My Sports
    Show My Cars

    etc...

    Then he had separate detailed templates for the users BIO, their sports, their cars etc... The detail link is pretty straight forward if you hover over/load it and look at the querystring, so this might be a route you should consider.     Thanks Chad for the response. Sorry I didn't make myself clear.

    When any user of our website clicks on a user profile (e.g for Thomas Born) in the directory list, the detail window comes up with the information about the user (Thomas Born). From an SEO point of view I would like Thomas Born to be appear in the page title (here I mean the tag of the actual html page).
