When I select the Navigation URL and choose the option Link Type to PAGE and select a page on my site it does not add the www to my URL when a User clicks on the image.

If my website is http://www.tld.com and my image is suppose to go page called SERVICE on my site.

    e.g. http://www.tld.com/default.aspx?tabID=105

But it removes the 'www' reference of the URL and I need it to keep that intact due to our internal company domain setup within our internal network.

    It looks like this now:
    http://tld.com/default.aspx?tabID=105

    Thoughts?

    Hi Chuck,

Please try using the URL link type instead and plug in the full URL.  Thanks!

    Hi Candace,
I thought that would be the case as that is what I did.  Do you know if there is a plan on modifying this so it will add the www reference in the future?

Sorry for the late response, Chuck.  Yes, I am sending this to the dev team as an enhancement for future releases.  Thanks!

    Chuck,

As far as I understand this it should be working this way unless you have that listed as an alias. If you go to admin/site settings (signed in as host) do you have the non www portal alias listed as a valid alias? If you remove that alias I believe it should use the 'working' alias which should be the www version. I don't think we specifically remove the www but we do look for all valid alias's.

    That worked.

I had the non www portal alias listed as a valid alias.  So when I added the www  to the portal alias, it resolved it correctly.

    Thanks.
