I'd like to use my Dynamic Views package to view/print custom registration properties from my DNN User Profile.

Can anyone provide assistance on how to connect to this table in DNN and pull up the fields?

    Thanks

    Hi Wendy,

This is actually the exact feature / purpose of our Dynamic User Directory module that is much more tailored to DNN users and so forth. So I would check out that module as it also creates a flat table / pivot table of all users data and is very fast.

If you do end up needing to still use Dynamic Views you can at least make use of the pivot table creation with Dynamic User Directory and search off of that.

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Chad:

Would you be able to tell me specifically how that can be done? I have spent a bunch of time trying to figure that out will no success.

One of the advantages of pulling the User Directory into Dynamic Views is that I can modify the export function to limit what data gets exported to different Users.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    Hi Jim,

Well in order to do this we still utilize Dynamic User Directory (at least its Dynamic User Directories scheduled tasks and processes that build a nice clean flat table for the user data). So step one is make sure DUD is actually running the scheduled tasks etc... After that you just need to query that table which is called TempDUDPivot. Basically this PIVOT table is generated (typically hourly) and creates a column for each and every profile property within DotNetNuke. So, you can query against this table directly within Dynamic Forms such as :

    Select * from TempDUDPivot

    Thanks,

    Chad
