How do I stop these columns from showing up on my pages. I carefully added fields to the list; I defined a link field "DView Details" and used the hyperlink icon...I do not see these three fields anywhere in the HTML or text box in the Item / List Template or the "generate Columns" list . Looks like the ViewDetailLink / URL always show when using the gridview but you can still use the regular template if you don’t like this. I checked in with the developer and as an enhancement to the next release, we’re giving these the option to hide/display. Thanks!

Is there a target release date for the new version of this module that will allow for the hiding of these columns?

Hi. Yes, currently we are targeting a release date of March 1st.

We actually have several new releases that are right around the corner... Some of these include:

1. Dynamic User Directory 4.1 - Many new enhancements that include Google Maps Integration, a new Search All Feature, ability to Search by Role, new Caching features, and the ability to use a Data Grid similar to what we added to Dynamic Views (targeted next week). You can actually demo/test this at training.betasprings.com under the User Directory Example 2.

2. Dynamic Registration 4.2 -New cache features and also the Panels/Tabs/Sections feature that was added recently to Dynamic Forms 4.0 (targeted two weeks out).

3. Dynamic Views 3.0 - A few fixes but more importantly, a lot of new enhancements related to caching and the ability to "SChedule Views" so you can have these reports emailed to you daily, weekly, monthly, etc.. Pretty cool stuff! This is scheduled for the end of February and I am very excited to use this feature myself! Unfortunately the bug that was found here was only found before the cut-off date for the development cycle for Dynamic Views 3.0. The Datagrid is a new feature that was released in the most recent version so I think a few of these items will take a little time to make sure they are working exactly as they should be. This is not ideal obviously but that is the nature the business!
