I created a query for DV to display a list from an external DB, I made the mistake to copy and past into DV with the ORDER BY statement at the end and now my module will not load. The Event viewer has the following message:

The ORDER BY clause is invalid in views, inline functions, derived tables, subqueries, and common table expressions, unless TOP or FOR XML is also specified.

I cannot find a View for DV module on the database. I try to change the Query directly on the DB for DNN on the ModuleSettings table SettingName, SettingValue but it seems that the query created a view.

How do I find the view to remove the ORDER BY ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry to hear about the problem here. Sometimes what you can do in this situation is get back into the control panel (even if you get an error on the page you might want to check your browser history or start typing in the URL to that page and you will find that you can get back into the control panel from there?). If you still can't get in, then please open a support ticket http://support.datasprings.com and provide us with host access. We should be able to get this fixed up pretty quickly.

We also have a new build that is being released tonight/tomorrow that I believe will no longer have a problem if the query fails like the current version/build does.
