My first recommendation is that you upgrade to Dynamic Views 3.0 and then install the Dynamic Views 3.0.01 hotfix. This version of Dynamic Views has proven to be the best so far.

It's cleared up many of the issues that I've run into when developing simplistic reports to complex reports. Things that I've noticed this version to fix:

* Inconsistencies of the Search Filters passing the constraints correctly to the Data Source query.
* The Record count is working.
* I haven't run into erratic behaviors when using the Stylesheet, such as styles not taking effect or my styles not being saved.
* The ClearCache feature is working, so you wont' have to pass around ClearCache=True through the URL to ensure you're getting the most recent records.
