Hello I try to get a report from my cutome excel file using :

Dynamic View ver: 2.2.1
DNN ver: 5.6.2

I use Custom SQL Query option with below pattern :

1) Custome SQL Query :

SELECT * FROM [sheet1$]

2) External Connection :

Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\Simpsons.xls;Extended Properties='Excel 8.0;HDR=Yes;IMEX=1'


Don't work for me.Generated Column Names not work.
I need your help.

Hi Mehran - I believe I responded to your support email as well. Unfortunately at this time the only external connection strings and database providers that can be used are MS SQL Server and Oracle. You would need to first import your Excel/CSV file into SQL Server and then query against the table.
