THTML loses content when exporting template

Hey guys, I noticed when exporting my portal to a template, this module loses all its content. Is there any way to go about exporting the site to a template where this module keeps its content? DNN 4.9.4 thx

Hi Ed, Sorry this one was overlooked. Did you get this working? I tried this on our test site and it worked for me. If you continue to have the problem, can you please set up a page on www.betasprings.com and see if you can duplicate it? Log in with host / dnnhost. Let us know what happens and your page URL. No Candace I havent gotten this working and it would be awesome if I could cuz this totally is the answer to the problem I'm facing with a task I've been assigned right now. I'm trying to replicate this on betasprings.com but I cant seem to access any of the child portals on the site. In firefox I get a Redirect Loop error: "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." and in Internet Explorer it just loads forever. Is this happening for you also?

Hi Ed, So you're trying to import from one portal to another? Hmmmm...I haven't tried this but let's see if the multiple portals is actually a factor. On betasprings or on your site, what happens if you just try to import it onto a page within the same portal? Candace

Yes on one of our sites (containing thtml modules) I'm going to host > portals -export site as template. and then I'm going to host > portals - add portal and I'm creating a child portal using that template. And the thtml modules all are empty

Ed, Hi. I will set this up on a test environment and see if we can duplicate this or if the module supports it. What version of Tailored Text/HTML are you working with? If you choose 'Export Content' and then 'Import Content' directly within Tailored Text/HTML does it work then? Just wanting to make sure its working on just a module to module level before we move onto testing it on a portal to portal level. Finally... Is there just one language for this portal or multiple languages? -Chad

Hmm. Good call Chad! When I try to export the modules content I get a 'The module specified does not have any content' error. It's THTML 2.2 and it's just one language. en-US.

How long would it take to get a fix for this? We need this function to be working in order to continue. Please let me know how long it would take and whether or not there's anything we can do to speed up the process. Thanks, Matt

Hi guys... Yes we are familiar with the bug with IPORTABLe and Tailored Text/HTML. We should have a fix for this within the next couple of weeks pending a few other releases that we are working on. This is a new bug that came out because the module previously didn’t support IPORTABLE for every all languages on the site. -Chad
