I am trying to convert the text value of a series of Query strings sent from Dynamic Forms to the Tailored Text module.  I tested the process through a stored procedure in SQL server, but the particular conversion piece is causing the tailored text module to crash, and the entire page fails to load.

What I do is have a query string pass from the Dynamic form into the Tailored Text, $(Ques1).  What I want to do is to use the answer (Yes or no) to convert into a 1 or 0 value.  So what I did was create SQL token, $(N1) containing the following T-SQL snip:

    If $(Ques1) = 'Yes'

    BEGIN

    SET $(N1) = 1

    END

    ELSE

    BEGIN

    SET $(N1) = 0

    END

I’m obviously missing an important part of what is needed for this, or maybe trying to set the value of a token based on another token can’t work.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I will look into this and try and duplicate. The next version of Dynamic Forms will pass along a uniqueID though which should also help. With a uniqueID you will be able to retrieve all of the forms responses directly from the ID (within Tailored Text/HTML) without having to pass all of the querystring variables.

As far as your token, you might also try putting that in a stored procedure and then calling the stored procedure from the Tailored Text/HTML module instead.
