    Hi,

    DotNetNuke 04.09.03, Interactive User Import 01.50.41

    I'm having a heck of a time importing some simple (so I thought) CSV files.  I go through the process, specifying the dnn core field mappings, autogen user/pw and logging enabled. 

    What happens is that only certain records get imported.  This file currently only has about 10 records for testing purposes. 

    The few records that do get imported get tend to get duplicated a few times (up to 4), the ones that did not import, gen errors in the Scheduler->History file of the sort:

    -----------------------------

     Records:7 
     Display Name:Some Name
     Auto Create Type:3 ****NO USERNAME**** This record will not  be processed because there is no username! Either select a  username column or use the auto create username feature;

    ------------------------------

    I changed displayname above to protect the innocent.  But the other failed records are the same.  I did select autogen username and pw.

    Some of the records have empty fields.  Could this be a problem?  We have a few hundred records to import, and I'm concerned since our 'test' file only contained around 10 records as a test and so far I've only been able to get a few to actually import.

    Hello Dave, thanks for the reply.  We were able to resolve the issue.  We were using 'email' type accounts.  The problem is that some of the records did not have an an email address (the email field in the csv was blank).  Since the email field was being used to generate the username (auto gen user/pw), the system was not happy.

    Once (fake/unresolvable) email addresses were added to the fields, import was successful on the failed records.
