I am running Interactive User Import 2.0.0. It looks like it has some nice features. Good work, except....

When I installed it, the scheduler didn't load. I found the answer to that in the forum and created one using the same parameter values as were displayed in the error (in the loading of the module the error had the expression being used to create the schedule. Looks like you need to add a parameter for who is creating the scheduled task).

When I ran a test import, I received the following error in the schedule history:

Interactive User Import Log: importing:'Users';
build:'2.0.0.26141';
logging disabled for this import - you can enable logging within the import options for a detailed view of the import process.;
****ERROR**** IUI - There was an error attempting to load the import file into the data table; Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DataSprings.DNN.Modules.UserImport.UserImportProcess.DoUserImport()

I know you will have a solution. Thanks in advance

HI Michael, it seems there was some file permission with your web hosting test site. I believe we've discussed this through email and it works fine your your other live site. -- David

In this case, I have this website running on a preview hosting site. The domain is not actually published but the hosting company provides a link to the website on a preview basis. While I can reference items using the relative address the DNN address for the website is www.website.com rather than the temporary website iaddress and that does not exist external to the site.
Bottom line is that I was running in a test environment which, as you say, prevented the import facility from accessing the files it needed.
I tested it on another website and everything went fine.

Thank you for the hard work. I recommend that people use real websites to test real software.
