I seem to be getting inconsistent results when importing and selecting to automatically authorize users.

This is for a new list of users, so I could update all users to authorized after import through a SQL update statement.  What column(s) in what table(s) need to be updated to make the account authorized?

    Thanks.

    Hi Troy,

That would be the ‘IsAuthoried’ column of the aspnet_membership table.

    Thanks,
    Candace

     Hi Candace,

I only see an IsApproved column in that table.  I assume that's what you mean? After doing a full import of about 1100 users, all have the IsApproved set to true, but they are not authorized in the UI.  If I do another import exactly the same, updating by username, they are all authorized.  And the whole time the IsApproved remains set to true for all records.

    ???

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Troy

HI, try the userportals table. It has an "Authorised" column based on the PortalID of the UserId. -- David
