Hi,
when importing a new user having set the 'Overwrite existing users' and the 'Automatically authorize users', the new created user has the Authorized flag unset.

If the import is repeated without deleting the user (so that the user is infact updated) keeping set the said options (overwrite and authorize), the updated users has the Authorized flag set.

Also, if the import is repeated (after having deleted the user) without setting the 'Overwrite existing users' and having set the 'Automatically authorize users', the new created user has the Authorized flag correctly set.

Is this a known bug?

(I am running Interactive User Import 3.0.10 on DNN 6.1.5)

Hi Gaspare - This has not been logged as a known bug but I am also not sure that this is something where it would always be set the exact way you might want / not want it to be set. You might end up needing to use SQL Events and so forth. The authorization feature that is the checkbox option there is really only supposed to be valid for new users and not existing users. When you enable the "Overwrite" it actually is only overwriting their user information from the excel spreadsheet. So maybe the label needs to change to outline that, or we need to research this as a potential enhancement.

thanks for your replay.

What I thought when I saw this option was that the import file could containg existing and not existing users. So if the overwrite flag is set, existing users get updated while new one are inserted (with the authorize flag set... but as I said this is not happening unless ones repets the import twice... the second time all users would just be updated).

If this is not the case, than I wrongly understood the meaning of this setting.
