Is it possible to transfer users from one DNN database to another and keep the user_id intact?

Would it be possible to clone your Development DNN Database and copy it over to production?

In most cases, I've seen Dev and Prod sites identical so this would be the best route to undertake. If they're completely different and you want to keep it that way, then you'll need to use a different methodology like Interactive User Import or SQL to export / import users.

If you have an external hosting provider, I would contact them to see what your options are. If you're the hosting provider, then you'll probably want to use Interactive User Import to port users over.
