I've got a portal that is using a custom Home Directory (Portals/OakridgeOR instead of Portals/51) and when I try to upload a file for import I get:

There was an error while loading import file!

    The event viewer contains this:

Message: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'X:\DNN\Portals\51\310afb3b10b2445b811993a102a47175.xls'. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode) at DataSprings.DNN.Modules.UserImport.Business.UserImportController.ImportFile(String FileName, Byte[] FileContent, String SheetName)

Notice the path\filename it is trying to open.  Is there a workaround for this?

    Thanks,
    Cary

    Cary,

Hi. When you navigate to Host, Module Definitions, what specific version does it show you are running on? I will check the code and current version as it should be using the portals home directory setting and not portalID. One temporary solution is to simply create that folder (called 51 under portals) and then simply delete it when the import is finished.

Also... Do you get this after the first step or when a schedule has executed as well. Or is there more to the error after that last line? I found the function call that is throwing the error but since its already passing it the full filename I am not yet sure specifically which area of the module is calling it yet.

It happens when you click Next the first time.  I created a 51 folder under Portals and was able to import the users.

    Thanks,
