Hello - I'm finding that since I've installed the stock quote module it is forcing DNN to use the basic text editor across all modules. Once I open the stock quote module, and since the default is to use Basic, it is remembered in the cookies and all modules assume this.

Not a huge deal, but does make for some frustration especially once we hand the site over to a customer who would always want to use Rich Text.

    Thoughts?

Hi. Well it should not be forcing all modules to use the Basic Textbox as far as I know?

There is an issue though with Rich Text Box fields and using them within the 'Settings' area. Since DNN introduced AJAX if you attempt to update a field within the settings area that is a Rich Text Box it will not save properly. The only way to save it is to use change it to be basic. We were just reading a forum thread related to this on DotNetNuke and it should be fixed for the next version of the free editor.
