Trying to set up renewal reminder. To test it, I've got a role set up that expires (and is automatically reinstated - via paypal IPN - more on that later) on a daily basis. (Under normal production our roles will expire annually)

I am unable to get a renewal sent for this situation. I have set it as follows:

Days - 0
Verification Delay - 0


With these settings, I was hoping to see a daily reminder for renewal, but it never seems to happen. I've throttled up the scheduling frequency to run every 15 minutes, in order to avoid the situation whereby perhaps the role is being reinstated before the renewal is checked. I know (or at least I assume) that the task is kicking off because the event log indicates it's running successfully on schedule.

Any suggestions? I'd like to be able to test that this actually works without having to wait for "real time" expiration of a year to take place, which is why I thought having a daily expiration interval would do the trick..

Hi Bob,

Can you please let me know if email is working in other areas of the site? A quick test would be to go to Admin > Newsletters and send yourself a test email. Are you able to receive it?

If you are, then please make a change to your Renewal Reminder tests. Please set up accounts with a roles that will expire 2 and 3 days from today. Then kick off the Renewal Reminder scheduler. Do the emails go out?

What if you change your settings to Days = 1 and VD = 1?
