Is there any way to use the HTML input button option for Dynamic Registration, like you can with Dynamic Login? I prefer them, but prefer consistency on the site even more. Any reason this isn't an option in both modules?

HI, I suppose you could save the HTML input button as an image and in the DR "Link Button / Image Button" section of Module Configuration, select "Image button" option instead and pick the image that you saved to your DNN website. -- David

I think this should be an option so that the look and feel of logging in and registering can be consistent.

    Hello Chris,

There's not an actual option for Dynamic Registration to use an HTML Button to submit the form, however the next best thing is to create a Custom HTML Button. You can follow the instructions from this blog post:
    http://www.datasprings.com/news/blo...mit-button

Note that this blog post was created using Dynamic Forms, however the implementation should be very similar for Dynamic Registration.

Please let me know if this helps.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Ryan,

That works, thanks for the quick response! The one draw back is that I will have to remember to change the javascript command to use the correct control number when I migrate the module from local->test->production. Anyway, it's minor.

    Best,
    Chris

    Hello Chris,

Glad to hear that this works for you. Yes, you'll need to maintain the onClick JavaScript responsible for submitting the form, if moving this form across other Dynamic Form/Dynamic Registration instances.

However at the moment, this is the easiest solution and offers full flexibility for the aesthetics, location and functionality of a submission button.

Let us know if you ever have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
