We prefer to use the DNN CK Editor in our DNN portals because it is so much better that the default FCK Editor but we've noticed that the Dyn Reg module does not work correctly with the CK Editor.  Dyn Reg refuses to save the text entered into the HEADER or FOOTER fields.  We worked around the problem by directly editing the DynamicRegistration_Question table but it would be great if this could be fixed.

    Hi Greg,

Thanks for your comments. I believe we received an email from the developer of the CK Editor related to this with both Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Registration. Can you tell me what version of DNN you are running on? According to the developer I believe the problem is that we are inserting jQuery and so it DNN directly. We are reviewing this and hoping to have a fix in the next patch or release.

    @ Greg E.

Use the lastest version of my Editor Provider.

But you have to disable jquery in the Module Settings

Hi Chris - Did you review the suggestion related to using the latest version of the CKEditor? I believe that the very latest version does not affect our modules the same way. The other option is to to use the FCK Editor or the CK Editor but actually to use the Telerik RAD Editor that comes standard with DotNetNuke I believe.

    Thanks,

    Chad

Chad, I currently have the newest version of CKEditor and from what it sounds like it had to do with how something was loaded in your modules that is casuing the problem since it works with a bunch of other 3rd party modules.  I was just hoping that we could turn something off in order to update a few forms in the admin side since we don't do major changes but a few minor ones every few months.  We can't use the other editors since we had issues with FCK and TelRad does not allow for different users toolbars in DNN 5.

Thanks for your feedback Chris... If you know any of the specifics related to the specific conflict or error I am happy to review this further.

    Thanks,

    Chad

Sorry it has taken so long but I have been on some other issues the past few days. The error seems to be when I am opening anything that has text area that needs to load. This error happens in the completion events after I select what I would like to edit. Here is the error and seems like something with how the module setups TypeError: i.contentWindow is null
