We are pleased to announce a pre-release of Dynamic Registration 2.2 for customers who are running on all versions of DotNetNuke 3.3.x/4.3.x This new version does support the latest DotNetNuke versions and includes many enhancements.

 

 The release is no longer in beta however we are waiting before releasing it to the general public to get all of the module documentation completed to include the latest enhancements.

I wanted to comment on some issues that have been discovered with DotNetNuke 3.3.4/4.3.4 that are causing some issues during installation of modules (not just ares but others as well).

The error you might get during installation can look something similar to this:
Failure ExceptionSystem.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: An error occurred loading a configuration file: Access to the path 'C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\zeaox31p.tmp' is denied.

OR
Failure ExceptionSystem.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: An error occurred loading a configuration file: Access to the path 'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\zeaox31p.tmp'
is denied.

This is a bug related to thet DotNetNuke core that will be fixed in DotNetNuke 4.3.5, you can view the details on this fix here:

One temporary fix you have implement if you are having this problem is to grant read/write access to the directory (i.e C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727) to the ASP.NET account user. If you grant these rights to the user you should have no problems.
