DNN Pro 5.3.1 Dynamic Registration 4.10.43 I'm having trouble getting the right combination of completion events to get my desired effect to work properly. Process flow: User fills out form User is created in DNN User is Redirected to Paypal User completes Paypal form User Is redirected to specific page for thank you confirmation User is assigned a "elevated" role after having completed paypal registration I'm having problems with #2. I can't seem to figure out how to create the user regardless if they hit paypal or not or they bail out before completing paypal. Any thoughts? Is this even possible? Thank you for the assistance, Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, With a typical PayPal integration, the payment notification is required from PayPal before we create the account – that’s how most customers have it. If this will work for you then you just need to find the built-in event called “Create Account/Update Account (in Module Configuration, PayPal Gateway) and link it to the Completed status. Then, when DR receives the IPN from PayPal, all the events tied to Completed (including the create account event) will fire. However, if you need to create the user first before sending to PayPal, you can redirect to another instance of DR that will handle the PayPal payments. (separate from creating/managing the account) You will still need to tie the Create Account/Update Account to a Completed Status. I thought DR allowed for events b4 redirecting to PayPal but I’m not seeing it. Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further questions

Yea I sort of figured I was out of luck. I was hoping that "Pending" status would get triggered as soon as they were sent to Paypal but that's not the case. Thanks for the idea of redirecting to a second instance of Dynamic Registration to handle the Paypal portion. That should work well enough.
