I would like to add newly registered users to a Constant Contact mailing list.

Can I do this (presumably with a completion event)?  Can you point me to a reference?

    Hi Joe,

We offer a newsletter distribution module called Opt In Email which is an equivalent to Constant Contact. This module integrates very well with our Dynamic Registration where new registrants can be automatically added to Email lists. You can also import existing users as subscribers into your lists. Subscribers can then manage their own subscription and later choose to opt in and out of different lists. Let me offer you the links for you to review:

However, if you really want to use Constant Contact, our Dynamic Registration module is also able to do a silent post to any URL. This thread might be helpful:

Thanks and please let us know if you have other questions.

Hi Joe - Just a quick follow up... If you did want to implement Constant Contact you might review this tutorial that a customer wrote when they were implementing Sales Force. Each integration and solution is different but with the silent post option this should be a feature you can utilize.

As Candace pointed out... you should always (I think ) consider Opt In Email though as you don't have to continue to pay for ongoing services and the module is more integrated with DotNetNuke and other integration options that exist within DotNetNuke.

I found this post as well that lists many useful threads for this topic:

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Thanks, Candace and Chad!

I really appreciate the level of detail and understanding shown in your answers. In this case, the client is already using Constant Contact, so making a change to Opt In is not going to fly.

I am also working with another client who wants to integrate with Salesforce, so the reference to that is useful in an entirely different context.

Again, thanks. Your help is one of the reasons I enjoy using your products.
