is it possible to allows users to register only with Unique Display Names and show a message if the display name already exist? Just like Active Social Registration does?

Hi - This can be handled however at this time the only way this can be done is if you created and utilized the SQL Validation feature of Dynamic Registration.

Hi - I believe the query you would need would be something like this:

Select Count(*) from Users where DisplayName = '$(DisplayName)'

Since the SQL Validation would end up rendering with the users displayname, and then returning 0, the statement would be returned as False and then the SQL Validation error message would appear.
