Is it possible to create a new user role from Dynamic Registration, and assign it to the (also) new user?

You can easily assign a role to the new user using a completion event. You can even assign different roles based on specific user responses. However, the roles have to existing, created under Admin, Security Roles. Were you looking to create a different role with each user created?

Yes, for example to assign a group of friend or customers with some special features.  The new roles may be: "new_user _friends" or "new_user_customers".

Well, yes this is possible by using SQL completion events. You'll want to think about what conditions you want this event to fire on so you don't end up with 200 different roles and counting if that is not your intent.
