    Hi,

I am am setting up the dynamic registration module for a multi-language site (nl-BE = default and fr-BE).

In the Form Localization section I have checked Use cancel membership linkbutton and entered the Cancel Text, just as I have done for the update registration link. In the General Settings section Allow Cancel is checked.

When I log in as a user and select the default language both update and cancel links are there, but when I switch to the alternative language only the update link is shown (with the correct text). The cancel link is not even in the source, so it is a server side problem.

Can somebody please help me? I am running DNN 5.1.4 and DynReg 3.20.70.

    Regards,
    Erwin

Hi Erwin - I don't know that this has ever been reported before however the version of Dynamic Registration you are running on is several years old and was never tested against 5.x etc... My first suggestion would be to try out the trial version for the latest 4.2 release of Dynamic Registration and see if you can still replicate this problem with that module. You can download the trial version from the left column/link at http://www.datasprings.com/DynamicRegistration.

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Hi Chad,

Thanks for your reply. I will try this in our testing environment.

In our production environment we are hosting multiple portals for different clients in the same DNN instance. They are all using Dynamic Registration. Is it safe to update to 4.2 without breaking our existing portals?

    Kind regards,
    Erwin

Hi Erwin - Yes, this should be safe and you shouldn't run into any issues. As with any upgrade, I would also do a backup first.

    Thanks,

    -Chad
