Whenever I am viewing one of DS dynamic modules, the dropdown list for my skin does not function and I get this error message:

    Webpage error details

    User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; GTB7.3; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C)
    Timestamp: Tue, 14 Aug 2012 19:56:25 UTC

Message: Object doesn't support this property or method
    Line: 39
    Char: 5
    Code: 0
    URI: http://MYWebsite/Portals/_default/S....js?cdv=99

Any ideas on how I can fix this?  Thanks.

Hi Jim - What specific version of DotNetNuke are you running on and what specific menu are you using? It sounds like our modules are calling jQuery NoConflict which is recommended by DotNetNuke (as far as I know). There are a few other references regarding this as well:

    http://mitchlabrador.com/2010/11/12/how-to-load-jquery-from-within-your-dotnetnuke-module-safely/

I believe this is what is causing the problems... We might end up adding a feature to optionally turn the feature off but I think that this can also cause a problem.

    Thanks,

    Chad

Sorry for the late response, Chad.

By the way, this only happens in Dynamic Registration. All of the menus are visible in Dynamic User Directory, Forms, and Views.

We are using DNN 6.2.2 and Dynamic Registration 4.20.11.0.

We are using the menu included as part of the Seany Skins produced by bestdnnskins.com.  I don't have any problem contacting them but I don't even know how to frame the issue.

Thanks for looking into this for us.

    Chad:

I noticed that the error message referenced trying to call a default skin. I went page in to Page Settings and specifically identified the skin and container for that page and now the menus are working fine.

    Thanks!
