Can you please elaborate on what the "Messaging Center" is within your Dynamic Registration module.

Please give me a brief summary of what your Dynamic Registration module is responsible for as far as functionality.

For instance,

* Registering Users
* SQL Form Completion Event that INSERT/UPDATE records into a table.
* Any sub tasks

Once I understand the workflow I may be able to offer advice.

I know that Dynamic Registration doesn't have a feature named "Messaging Center", so I imagine this is something that you custom built into Dynamic Registration.

My apologies, I've not been clear.

When I say message center, I mean the built in DotNetNuke messaging. So for example, on a site without Dynamic Registration, you would click on your name and it would take you to a page with your profile details, and all your private messages (What I was calling a message center). When you click on your name on a site with Dynamic Registration, it takes you to the DR page with your details and nothing else. I've tried adding the message module to the profile page (the DR one) and it refuses to work (I get an 'undefinederror'). If I set the user profile page back to the default DNN one, messaging starts working.

I've spoken to our host about it (PowerDNN) and they just keep saying it's probably Dynamic Registration causing it because it replaces the core user profile.

Are there any compatibility issues with DR (4.10.13) and DNN 6.2? Is anyone else using DR with 6.2 and still able to use Message Center?

There can certainly be issues between DNN 6.2.6 and DR 4.1.1. I would recommend upgrading your DR module to DR 4.2.2 or DR 4.2.3.

You can test to see if the upgrade works by installing the Trial Version of DR:

OK, sounds fair enough. Is there an upgrade path from 4.10.13 to the latest version or do I need to purchase the whole module again?

Yes, you should receive a 70% discount when upgrading from DR 4.1 to DR 4.2 according to our Upgrade Policy:

Also, before upgrading, I would recommend performing a back up of your current site, install the DR Trial version from the link I provided, install it, and see if this issue still persists.

If it does, then you'll have the option to rollback to the version of your site with DR 4.1 installed. I bring this up because you can't downgrade our modules without conducting an uninstall/reinstall(which will remove all of your work done in DR).

I've seen Dynamic Registration conflict with other modules, generally jQuery conflicts. So you may want to download FireBug plugin for FireFox, throw DR and the messaging center on the same page, enable FireBug and see if any Conflicts/JavaScript errors were logged.
