I am trying to use DR 2.3 to recreate a basic DNN Registration. I have UserName, Password, Confirm Password, FirstName, LastName, Address, etc... all linked to DNN Core fields and working properly on submission. However, the Email "Question" textbox (which is linked to the Email Address Core field as described in the documentation) is not populating/updating the Core on submission.

 

I have checked all of the documentation, and cannot discern any settings that may be having an effect on the saving of the data. I do not have email validation selected, and the "

Same email cannot register twice" option is not selected.

 

Any ideas what may be happening?

Hi. Can you duplicate this on our test site at www.betasprings.com (standard DNN Login for admin). I am wondering if this was fixed up with 2.3.1 but that should be the latest release out so you might have to download the package again.

While I am waiting for an update for DNN 3.3x, is there a preferred method for populating the Core email fields when the module is not doing so?

 

   - Post Registration Dynamic SQL Event? Update Core tables with email based on $UserID?

 

   - Create a trigger to perform same function?

 

Any help would be appreciated...
