I’m trying to test the Drop Down Login 1.0 module. I am having difficulty with the CSS. I'm not a complete novice and I am a web developer.

May you please provide some basic setup instructions and a simple sample skin that uses the "DropDown Login 1.0"?

You'll find installation instructions in the DropDown Login User Guide.

Also, are you using a trial version?  We just posted a new trial version based on the DDLI 1.00.50 build that you can download.  By the way, what DNN version are you on?

I have just installed v 1.0.31 against the latest DNN 5.4.2. I followed the instructions and pasted the CSS directly into the Admin>Stylesheet via the DNN interface. I have updated the login .ascx files correctly as I can see the login link and it works. Hover over the link and nothing happens? ie. no dropdown visible. I do have Dynamic Login installed also but didn't think that would affect anything. ?

I should have been a little more specific. I did actually update the skins.css. I am using the DNN MInimalExtropyPro default skins. So I updated the index1024.ascx, index1280.ascx and index full.ascx files. Put in the register link and the dnn:LoginSkin to each of the templates accordingly. Included the stylesheet info to the Admin>settings part of the portal. Hover over the login link and nothing?

I have this working now.  For those using the default skins, make sure you update ALL the .ascx files. I neglected to update the leftmenu and index files. Silly me.

In the process I managed to kill the textsize and size widgets from general view. They work fine when you are logged in as HOST but running the site, they are not there?
