I am using drop down login (DDL) v1.0.31 in conjunction with Escher photo gallery v0.0.534 by Oliver Hine.  This module performs lightbox effect on a gallery of images loaded from picasa or flkr when a thumbnail is clicked.

This lightbox effect ceases to work when the DDL module is on the same page. Instead clicking thumbnail loads image in same window minus lightbox.  ie effectively just loads the image url.  
removing the <dnn:LoginSkin runat="server" ID="dnnLoginSkin" CssClass="user" /> tag from the ascx file again restores functionality to the gallery module.

any help or thoughts appreciated.

I was having the same problem, but I am using Dynamic Forms.. I read in other posts about a jquery conflict.. and someone suggested disabling jquery for the Datasprings module..

It solved my lightbox issue.

Yes it must be some jQuery conflict but I am not really sure why. In some of our modules (such as Dynamic Forms) you can optionally enable/disable jQuery scripts and/or jQuery No Conflict so maybe that can optionally be disabled in their module? We might also check this for the 2.0 release and have an optional parameter to not render the jQuery/jQuery No Conflict in our module?

Thanks guys. I have managed to get around this for now by encapsulating the module within a secondary module where i can then disable the jquery. Seems to have survived all situations so far.
