Brian,
Hi. Sorry I am the primary developer on this module and have been traveling throughout the last week. I did respond to your other thread and we have logged this as an issue to fix for future releases. Currently the JavaScript function only works with the FCK Editor. We did add similar code recently for Dynamic Forms that handles the RAD and CuteSoft Editor and we plan to move this same code over to the Opt In Email module. Please give us a few weeks to get this patch out, we originally didn't have this as a JavaScript function but went this direction for performance reasons. We could move it back to not use the JavaScript function but would prefer this method as its much faster.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi, all --
We have DNN 5.2.3 Pro with the Telerik editor. I had the same experience, then tried
Advanced Email module | Control Panel | Module Configuration | General Settings | Insert Token Method
Pick the "server side" option, and it will insert ... but at the end of whatever content you have ... so you have to cut and paste to put it where you want it. But it does save some typing ...

Hi John,
Yes the next release will be changed (4.4 release to support the Telerik editor instead of the FCK Editor (or should support both actually). This module is in development and should be released by the end of the summer.
Thanks,
Chad
