Would it be possible to add an option to the List Cleanup to "synchronize" the list to a particular role?

Some of our lists are membership based.  When a users role expires they are no longer entitled to recieve email newsletters.  Currently it is very easy to add from a role, but I haven't found a way to remove based on a role being expired.
