Can we use Opt In Email with an ecommerce solution like Smith Shopping Cart? Currently it appears that Smith Shopping Cart will only save a True/False statement into the database to define if a customers wants to opt in to email newsletters. Can this be used to send emails via Opt In?

I'm currently looking for an ecommerce module that has email newsletter capabilities but this is an often overlooked part of a good ecommerce solution 99% of the time, does anyone know of one that can integrate with Opt In Email?
