Hi. We're doing some integration work with Opt in and DNN and note the system creates GUIDs. Can these be obtained from the database via Opt-In? Is the Opt-In Email database key based on E-mail address, a concatentation, or the GUID value?

Hi Rick,

Yes these can be obtained, generally they are used throughout the module (all of our modules use GUIDS generally). The primary key used in Opt In Email is the OptInEmailID ad not actually email (a few reasons for this but starting with muli portal implementations). So for example, areas ofbthe module such as email tracking, opting out, verification, and other areas all rely and use the OptInEmail ID within the URL.

I guess I would need to know more though about the integration to know how I can provide you any tips...

We want to embed the GUID in a URL sent to a site subscriber for verification purposes and to synchronize the OI database with the DNN database. In OptIn Email there are several tokens that can be inserted into an E-mail; do any them correspond to the GUID? Does OptinEmailID = the GUID? If not, is the OptEmailID partially based on the GUID?
