I was wondering if the tokens can be embedded in the href of an anchor? I tried it, and the tokens don't seem to be parsing.
ie the following code:
< a href="$(WebLinkURL)" >View this in a browser< /a >
doesn't seem to work (btw I put space in the tag so this forum post won't treat it like a link).
However, if I do this:
View this: $(WebLinkURL)
The token parses and I get the URL, but then the receiver sees this huge long URL.
Same thing with tokens like $(OptOutURL), when I tried to put the token in a href, it doesn't parse, but it does if I take it out of the anchor tab, it just renders with default text. I know I can change this text, but I want to be able to style the link text, different between different newsletters
