Is there any ETA on when this feature will be fixed?
I had hoped that by now it would be working again, but I still cannot insert mail merge tokens. Yeah, I know I can type them in manually, but I have customers who are not really code-savvy who want to use this module and they are becoming increasingly frustrated with the fact that this feature hasn't worked in a very, very long time.
I'm running the latest build of Opt-In Email (4.30.80) on a DotNetNuke 5.6.7 Portal.
Is there a workaround other than typing in the tokens manually? Because that's pretty much a non-starter for my customers.

Hi Barry - This feature is fixed in the upcoming 4.4 release... This release was supposed to go out already but we hit a few road blocks with some of the enhancements (Auto Link Tracking is a new feature and also ability to Insert static module content etc...).
We did create a work around within the patch that you have though so you should be able to get around this already. You just need to go into module configuration and choose the option "Server Side" for the "Insert Token Method" setting there instead of "Client Side". This should then inject that token without the error you are getting with the newer versions of DotNetNuke.
Thanks!

The workaround did the trick. Thank you.

What is the ETA on the release of 4.4, the post mentioning that the release was supposed to be out was 3 months ago.
