DNN 6.1.3 with OptIn 4.3.71

Whenever I send a newsletter the inserted tokens look something like this

rather than the expected

http://mysite/dnn060103/Default.aspx?TabID=271&Manage=True&OptInID=ca6161ec-ee9a-40d9-a7e3-555fb4390ca4

Just as a footote; the 'Manage Subscription' link that is sent to user when they wish to manage their subscriptions has the URL formatted correctly??

Go figure!!

So I've managed to workaround the problem (sort of).

I added my portal alias to the Alternate Portal Alias setting and this has solved the issue.

Would love someone to explain why this has fixed the issue though!!!
