    Hi,

We are using an injected module in our emails, but the module content is caching (only in the newsletter)

It's due to this which I saw in the log "Just set module cache for injected module content based on hour:14"

How do we make it so that the injected module is *NOT* cached, or at least only cached briefly?

The issue is that when a test email is sent, the cache is created, but then there is often some last minute changes to the injected module content.

    Thanks

    Hi WiredKiwi,

Can you please tell us your exact Opt In Email version AND your DNN version, too? Thanks!

Hi ... At this point the module is injecting content with 1 hour of cache. So... You might want to consider setting up the scheduler to only send out 'x' per hour? Basically if you had the scheduler setup to send out 200 per hour then it would be refreshing that content every hour for each 200 subscribers. At this point in time the feature is hard coded to cache the data for an hour, we might later review adding this as an enhancement but for now this is how the feature works out of the box. Might be a good option to at least have every 20 or 30 minutes maybe... I think we added this in because without any cache the performance impact was tremendous.

    Thanks,

    -Chad
