    Hi Guys and Gals,

    I am running the following:
    Running DNN 6.1.3 and Opt-In 4.4.1

    I have done a restore on my site as we moved servers.  I am able to successfully use the DNN Newsletter module to send an email.  I did this to test to ensure my SMTP server is working.  I was successful in sending a test email via this method.

    I then attempted to use the DataSprings Opt-In-Email to send my emails.  I successfully create the email and then I choose a test list with three recipients.  After drafting the email and telling it to send now, the report shows no emails being sent.  I have read a post speaking of ensuring there is no Name in the send mail as apparently the Name is an issue for DNN.  This too has been verified and there is no name.

    I look at my scheduler and realize none of my schedules appear to be running recently.   It looks like it has been six months since the last time something as triggered via the scheduler.

    What guidance can be provided to help us get this valuable module working.  Here is the module detail from the scheduler.

    Please find Chad's comments on 1/26/2011 and try his suggestion to change the regex for the email in DNN.

    Hi Candace,

    We are not against upgrading, but certainly the module we have should be able to send emails without fail. If the DNN site is able to sent via the Newsletter portal then so should the Opt-In module. I looked through that thread last night and the end result was to take out the 'From Name' and try again. I did this and it still does not appear to be working.

    It seems like the events are never firing in the scheduler. Any further thoughts on what needs to be added? Is there a possibility that your module on install did not get all of the schedules needed in the scheduler?

    Hi Dennis,

    Did you also try changing the regular expression for emails? This was a major DNN change and in many cases, changing the regex back to pre-DNN6.1 resolved the issue.

    A few other things you might look into:

    1. In Opt In Email - Advanced, within Module Configuration, can you verify that the scheduler is enabled?

    2. Create a test email and then in Host, Schedule, can you edit the scheduler for Opt In and hit Run Now. Do the emails go out?

    Hi Candace,

    I did as you requested and still to no avail. I went to the scheduler and clicked run now. These are the two modules showing in the scheduler:

    Dataspring.DNN.Modules.OptInAdvanceEmail.SendNewsletters,Dataspring.DNN.Modules.OptInAdvanceEmail

    Dataspring.DNN.Modules.OptInAdvanceEmail.SendEmailCampaigns,Dataspring.DNN.Modules.OptInAdvanceEmail

    Is there a schedule missing. It seems like there is but I do not know what the exact one might be.

    When I check the report post send it shows 0 emails attempted yet I have two in my test pool.
