I would like to edit the ascx files of the "simple opt-in " module at least.

Can you tell me which files should I edit?

optinsimple.ascx

and which else which injects code into it?

Basically I want a table less code or at least a valid one (small letters, breaks, no tabid -1 and so on.)

I was able to take the generated source code and get what I want and paste it into a text module but the only problem is that it doesn't return any message after submitting.
