Anybody else experience the header or footer information disappearing when trying to update an existing field? (V3.0)

We've experienced this several times, it's pretty frustrating.

Example to further clarify:

1. We create a field and add header info and or footer info.
2. We decide to make some changes to the field.
3. We go to edit the field and the header info is not there, though it previously was displaying properly in the field.

We have noticed this primarily in check box group field types.

This might be related to a known issue with AJAX and the FCK editor.  Please try this:

Go to Module Configuration and disable AJAX from form configuration.  Then edit your field again and add the header & footer then hit update.  If the problem continues, edit the field again, enter the header & footer again but this time, switch the editor radio button to  Basic Text Editor then hit update.  let me know if any of this fixes you up.  Thanks!
