    Hello Support,

I have a long form for users to fill out and after a period of time the Form submits automatically with out all of the fields being completed.

Is there a option to increase the amount of time either within the site/host settings or within the module it’s self.

    Regards
    Richard

Hi, perhaps you can do some research on using client side javascript timing functions that will for the "submit" after a certain amount of time. -- David

    Hello David,

Thanks for the reply but I do not want the form to submit after a certain amount of time I want to stop the Form submitting automatically.

Does Dynamic forms have a predefined time limit to cause the form to submit by itself or is it some other problem which is causing the form to submit automatically.

    thanks
    Richard

Hi, as far as I know, DF doesn't have an auto summit. There's no way to submit a form without clicking on the "Submit" button or using client side javascript so there must be something else on your browser setting / system that would cause this. -- David

    Hello David,

I believe I might have found out what is causing the problem it is when a user hits the return key when typing text into one of the multiline fields is causing the form to submit I have tried hiding the submit button and using a tick box to display the submit button but you can still submit the form by hitting the Return key.

Oh, I see. In that case, when you go to Module Configuration / General Settings, there is an option to "Enter key forces form submission: ". Make sure to uncheck this and you will be all set. The user must be hitting the enter key when typing in an entry in a textbox/multi-line textbox, etc. -- David
