I asked the same for Dynamic Registration modules, but I also need to acomplish the same requirement for Dynamic Forms module. Here is the question:

Does anyone knows how to add an "alt" property to the submit image buttons in order to comply with the section 508 standards specifications?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

What exactly is 508 standards spec? I googled it but there's too many info to reading through. Can you like give an example or screenshot of what you want? -- David

Hi David, thanks for you interest.

The section 508 (I think is a standard for designers) is for people visually imparied to be able to use a screen reader.

Almost all the images on the site need to have an alt property in the image tags of the html code.

You are aware that you can put an image as submit button in the module configuration of dynamic forms.

The buttons is dynamically genererated by code.

Then the question is how can insert that property in order to comply with the 508 standards.

     Allright Guys

Even if we cannot make all the form comply with the section 508 standards in the meantime.

Chad and Candace helped us a lot:

To include an alt text in the submit buttons.

This code // "AlternateText="MyAlternateText" alt="MyAltText" title="MyTitleText" "must be injected in the DynamicForms.ascx file.

The result will look like this.

    Thank you guys.

I'm looking forward to see some accesibility for blind or visually impaired people on the forms.
