I am trying to insert "Select Your Option" using a SQL statement for List. Can you help me with this.

    Here are the details:

I have created a List (Host >> Lists) called "Cities". I am using that as the source to populate a drop-down list on a Form (Dynamic Forms). I am currently using a SQL

select Text as QuestionOption, Text as QuestionOptionValue from Lists where ListName= 'Cities'.

I don't want to add an option called "Select Your Option" in the Host >> Lists; but I want to generate that option dynamically using a SQL statement in the Form.

How to construct that SQL statement? Any help is greatly appreciated!

HI, use a UNION ALL SQL statement.

select ' -- Please choose City --' as questionoption, ' -- Please choose City --' as questionoptionvalue union all
select Text as QuestionOption, Text as QuestionOptionValue from Lists
    where ListName = 'Cities'
