I can't figure out how you specify measurements in the varous text boxes. There's "height", "field width", "max length", others? Each in a different section of the Manage Questions form and none of the numbers appear to relate to the number of characters. Please clarify. Thanks.

    David,

    Here are a few clarifications:

    1. Max Length is just the maximum number of characters that the user is allowed to enter. For example if you set the width to be 200 but the max length to only be 3 then the user would only be able to enter ABC because although the look was set to 200 the max length was set to 3.

    2. Field width is really the main field that wets the width of the textbox fields at least

    3. You can use a custom stylesheet attribute for certain fields or the NormalTextBox stylesheet attribute, this can change how large a field actually renders. I would check your NormalTextBox stylesheet class and possibly modify it.

Also, within general settings you can specify the 'Default Short Textbox' and 'Default Long Textbox', these are just the defaults that are implemented when creating a new field, you can always change the field width once you are creating a new field though.
