Image File Duplicate on Unique name

    The image upload feature is SO poor on DF. I have been asking for bug fixes for almost a year and it still does not work. Here is the situation.

    Version 3.4.1

    If image type is:
    Full Only
    FileName with date
    Full Path.

    Result. The file name renders a SPACE between the date and time. This creates errors on the URL in emails, results, pdf etc and cuts the link at the end of the date part of the URL. Why would a developer leave a space in a file name?

    If image type is:
    Full Only
    Unique Name
    Full Path.

    Result: Duplicate files are created. WHAT??? With no effective file upload function this bloats the file system by 200% with no way to determine which file is the one associated with the form entry. (unless tediously searching through the database) multiply that by thousands of uploads and it is unusable. 

    Please tell me there is a patch for this. I have waited to purchase the newest pack release but I would like the original one to at least work first.

    Hi Sentient,
    Currently you are on the latest version of Dynamic Forms ( i.e 3.4). Are you also on DNN 5.6.2? You want to be on 5.6.2. There have been some incidences of issues with 5.6.1 that we didn't know about that have surfaced.

    Please check and see if there is some support answers here for your problem:

    Im running 5.6.2 - I got nothing from those links. Are you saying there is a patch for this?

    Hi Sentient,
    Sorry for the delay. I am asking a senior support engineer to answer this as I am not aware of whether there is a patch. I understand that generally one can log into snowcovered and there you will find patches and updates. Please go there and see if you find anything new. Otherwise a support analyst will fill in where I am missing anything
